The Challenge
Loading heavy goods safely and ergonomically
In building services work – whether servicing existing systems or installing new ones – companies regularly face the challenge of getting heavy goods safely into a van. Individual components and appliances are often very heavy and have to be properly secured at the same time. There is also the question of how to load a van’s cargo area as ergonomically and efficiently as possible without changing its inclination – and across a wide range of vehicle types.
The Solution
The ANYLIFT lift loading system as a flexible transport solution
Haustechnik Schober chose the ANYLIFT lift loading system and has been using it successfully since 2022. The system extends the entire loading space fully automatically and lowers it to ground level. Heavy loads can then be moved onto the loading platform with a pallet truck and rolled straight into the van without any additional lifting. The electrohydraulic system offers considerable flexibility and performance:
- Own weight: approx. 220 kg
- Maximum payload: up to 1,200 kg
One major advantage of ANYLIFT is how far it can be tailored: this is not an off-the-shelf product but a custom-built solution, matched precisely to the individual vehicle and its interior dimensions. In this case, for example, the loading platform is more than 3.5 m long. Special requests such as fitting a vehicle shelving system can be integrated without difficulty, because design and production are handled in-house. The lift loading system for Haustechnik Schober was planned, produced and ready for installation within six weeks.
Because the system can be removed very easily and therefore does not permanently alter the vehicle’s kerb weight, no additional entry in the vehicle registration documents is required – it simply counts as part of the vehicle’s load.
Operation is straightforward, using just two buttons: the load is lashed down on the extendable loading platform and secured without anyone having to step inside. Synchronised support feet keep the platform level as it extends and retracts – even on uneven ground.

The Result
Ergonomic working and a contribution to workplace health promotion
Using ANYLIFT at Haustechnik Schober has proven itself in daily practice and has also contributed to employee health. According to Managing Director Franz Schober, introducing ANYLIFT helped the company renew its certification BGF: Betriebliche Gesundheitsförderung (BGF workplace health promotion) from the ÖGK. Haustechnik Schober now uses ANYLIFT for the daily transport of heavy goods such as boilers, heat pumps and household appliances. Another advantage is that loads can be handled safely and efficiently by a single person – no additional equipment such as a forklift is needed. The system suits a wide range of trade applications, and plumbers and heating engineers in particular: from the ergonomic transport of machinery through to pallets complete with a hand pallet truck.
